Almost everything is great including the front office staff. The maintenance is not the best. We’ve never had power to our back patio, and our bathroom outlets don’t work. They keep telling me it’s the GFI down stairs. I’m a contractor, so I tried that before reporting it. I let them know, and they just told me try the GFI…

As a recent Palmer graduate, I can say without hesitation that Victoria Gardens is the best apartment complex for Palmer students. Graduate school is no easy journey, and having a place that understands the unique challenges students face especially when it comes to finances and mental well-being is priceless. Ann and the entire VG crew made my time at Palmer not only manageable, but truly memorable.
What sets Victoria Gardens apart isn’t just the comfortable living spaces or the convenience it’s the people. The staff at VG go above and beyond. They understand how students receive their funding, and they’re willing to work with you around loan disbursement schedules, which makes rent payments so much more attainable and less stressful. That level of empathy and flexibility is incredibly rare.
But what really makes VG special is the community and support. The staff aren’t just professional, they’re genuinely kind-hearted and encouraging. In a doctorate program, there are moments when you feel overwhelmed or uncertain, and those encouraging words from the VG team can mean everything. I can’t count how many times a simple conversation with Ann lifted my spirits when I needed it most.
Sure, there might be newer apartments in the area with fancy pools or trendy amenities, but no modern feature compares to the love and family you gain from being a part of the Victoria Gardens community. That sense of belonging, that emotional support, it’s unmatched.
I will be forever grateful for the time I spent living at Victoria Gardens. The compassion, understanding, and warmth I received from the entire staff will stay with me always. Thank you, VG, for being more than just a place to live, you were a vital part of my journey.
