This place is well-located and close to supermarkets and stores. It is well landscaped, in fact, one of the reasons I rented here is that I love trees, and there is a bit of a rolling hill. Still, the buildings are old, and we have old and rather cheap appliances. I have become really anxious about the number of fires within the buildings. The couple upstairs started a fire in their stove, and we were all evacuated while the Fire Dept. was taking care of the blaze. After that, all the units on the floor needed new doors. The unit with the fire was destroyed, and that couple moved out immediately. They were new tenants. There is a lot of turnover and I am afraid someone is going to burn the place down. I know how to cook on a gas stove, but apparently, a lot of people do not.
I am elderly, and last December, I broke my ankle and I stayed in the apartment but hobbled around on crutches for months. Management told us that we would have to clear the snow around our cars. We had several big snowstorms, including a storm that dumped 3 feet of snow. I never shovel snow, even when my health is good. My neighbors helped me clean off the car.
Maintenance staff is friendly and helpful, but I do think that this property is overpriced and even dangerous.
