Yolo West Apartments

Inside the units is modern with nice faux hardwood floors, and stainless steel appliances. Our appliances are working well after 4 years, but some have been replaced. The property is still fairly new and in good shape. There is a lot of dust from the empty field across Los Angeles (Ave), and occasionally fertilizer smells or strong cilantro smells from the farm across Darling. Inside the gate is fairly clean and maintained, again with a modern aesthetic. The outdoor grills provided are clean and usually available for use when I need them. The store downstairs has decent foot-traffic and can attract some litter. The gates are starting to wear out and don't always close, and there is a 4 digit code to enter that has not changed in years and is worn into the keypads which could be easily guessed. Unassigned parking on Darling and Los Angeles is non-existent, and trying to park can be frustrating. Maintenance usually answers calls after hours and is accommodating. I have never heard a neighbor once in 4 years, through the walls, ceiling or floor. It's a decent place to live, but the yearly rent hikes are making our unit (2 BR 2 bath) hard to justify.
