We recently got a new maintanance Man and now the property always looks beautiful. The rules are strict here regarding having personal Items in front of your door way or on your patio, entry way, or any surrounding areas which doesnt leave much space for origonality or uniqueness byt it makes for a constistant fresh and clean looking complex all around. Residents have been asjing a libg time for an elivator for the 3 sory flights of stairs and would benefit greatly from a coded gate in the entry driveway due to the location being so central to everything downyiwn ans becayse of all the “Transients” that feequebt our parking lot area regularly. This ysed to be a much bigger issue however it has extremely improved due to fixing and installing new, better security cameras and requiring security to frequent the propert mite than just one time to scan theur vadge and go. The factcthat you have to pay for extra storage, Bike lockers, Patking, and all utilities. Tjis is a pet friendly environment equipt with our own dog park. Yes they do except Section 8 and other subsidy programs so the diversity here is wuitevibterestibg. From the trypical UCSC students, to the recently homeless, to the American famiky and all walks of life in between. Dont always count in your rebt actually getting paid if you decide to pay via Rent Cafe online allthough 8 times outbif 10 it gors through without issue. This is a nice place to live on a shirt term basis but only in the C building are there two bedtoom units, 4 of them to be exact and Then the front section if the A& B building are Small Studios abd the back section are newer one bedroom apartnebts that have all the annenities such as a washer snd dryer, a disheasher etc… while the two bedrooms dont have washers dryers or dishwashers at all. I wish there was a pool!, gym, hot tub, anything extra woukd make the high cost a little more tollerable. Ella, The OFFICE manager us tough to enforce rules but very hrloful and delightful.
