Nice apartment layout. However, there are problems. Management barely gives 24 hour notices, if even, to enter your home. They have done this to me several times now and it's very inconvenient and feels like an invasion of privacy. I have cats and they're giving me barely a 24 hour notice out of nowhere that pest control is coming to put poison in my apartment, requesting me to prepare everything and somehow remove my cats. I have a life, I work. I'm not always home. It's not right to give less than 24 hour notices, as it breaks their own lease policy. Absolutely no respect or consideration for their residents. When I ask them "Why are you telling me this on such short notice?" they don't even have a response. They don't want to take accountability and do better for the community. The La Costa team needs to have better communication with the residents and they need to have the basic respect of giving a reasonably timed notice when they want to enter a resident's home. You want communication from La Costa? Expect a piece of paper taped behind your door. That’s how they communicate almost everything, even important things. It's 2025, why are we not using email more to relay important information? When there is an emergency issue in my apartment and I need maintenance to come fix it, they take hours and hours to show up. The front office keeps saying things like, "We'll send them right now," and "They're on their way," yet it took hours for anyone to actually show up. It's also not the safest area. There are homeless people and druggies all over, especially at night. Just today I saw one washing their face and body in the water structure outside the apartments (don't get me started on what I've seen other days). This has been an ongoing problem but little seems to have been done. I've had packages stolen from my front door multiple times. When I called La Costa's security, nobody showed up.
