Current Resident

Arcadia Park used to be a great value for it's money with responsive management. Unfortunately, the quality of services and value have deteriorated. As a 6+ year resident, I am currently paying $200 more a month than someone moving into the same sized unit despite many items being beyond their life expectancy and nearly no upgrades beyond a needed refrigerator replacement and a failed bath tub resurfacing. Management is unresponsive. It can take weeks of attempting to follow up to receive even an acknowledgement. Maintenance has entered my for a non emergency without permission or notice. While hot water outages no longer happen for my building monthly (at least this year), twice in the past month my water has been shut off without notice. Both incidents caused major disruptions to my day (which could have been avoided with notice). At renewal, I pointed out a typo in the ownership entity. It took over a month and reaching out to corporate to get this corrected. After it was corrected, they attempted to add a new charge that was not in the lease. Management requested I "ignore" it initially. It took quite a bit of back and forth to get it corrected. The laundry rooms are filled with machines that do not work and are usually filthy. It is not uncommon for them to not be opened on time. Electricity bills can run 100% than comparable homes due to cooling alone according to TEP (even with black out curtains and uncomfortable thermostat settings to save money). AC units are outdated, buildings are poorly insulated, and the windows are poor quality.
I absolutely would not recommend anyone rent here until the management issues are resolved.
