German Oaks Townhomes

This place was nice at first. The rent was good. The management was excellent. This place been bought by 3 different companies and each one jack up the rent. I pay almost $300 more than I did when I moved here in 2022. Also maintenance is hard to get to fix things. My garage been broke almost 1 year and still not fixed.

It is a little overpriced for what it is and we were told we would have quarterly pest control, but it was last sprayed on September 26th which it is now over 3 months past due. But other than that it has been ok.

I moved in when these townhomes were first built. The first builders/owners were great until they couldn’t manage the property themselves anymore. Since then we’ve had about 8 different managers and the place has also changed ownership. Currently, it’s hard to get maintenance. The front office is only occupied on Tuesday and Thursday. I’ve had water sitting in my dishwasher for two weeks with no one to look at it. Ive been here 3 years and my bathtub stoppers have worn down so I have to stop the tub with a towel. My clothes washing machine only works on regular cycle now. Maintenance requested for these things but I guess since Im month to month, Im not a priority. They are also trying to force renters into a new lease by raising the month to month rent by $300. So many people have moved out. I wouldn’t advise these apartments unless you are great at doing your own maintenance and don’t need many amenities. Also be advised that although they are raising rents for month to month regardless of what you were paying when you leased, they still want to apply the lease for other things like requiring a 60 day move out notice. what a joke. Oh and they’ve added more fees monthly such as trash and pest control which was previously included. It’s definitely a money making business, but loyalty works both ways.
