Edgewood Terrace

Have lived here for almost two years and overall like my unit! It's inconvenient not having a washer/dryer and parking is not the best, but maintenance is prompt and the staff is great! It's an older unit, so it's not going to be perfect.

The location of this building is probably what I like most about living here. It's safe a safe area, very family friendly, and easy to get anywhere in Birmingham quickly. The unit is very charming and has a lot of character, which I love- hardwood floors and fun bathroom & kitchen tile. The bedroom closet is surprising spacious, which was a pleasant surprise given the size of the unit. Maintenance requests have always been taken care of very quickly, which I really appreciate. It's a quiet building/area- haven't had any issues with noise (even with a bar across the street). There was an issue with a neighbor one time, and management was very helpful in getting that resolved quickly. The things I don't love so much..... Storage is minimal (especially in the kitchen and bathroom) and not having in unit laundry and a dishwasher has been challenging at times. I wish there was more dedicated parking for the building because parking can be scarce at times, especially on the weekends. I wish the grounds of the building where taken care a bit better- landscaping, etc. The area is so cute, but sometimes the exterior looks a little run down/ignored. All in all, it's a great place to be and would recommend to anyone looking for a small one bedroom/one bath unit.

I've lived here about a year and a half; most everything is great. Good condition of apartments and things, but the outside always has trash on the ground and the washers and dryers are unreliable at best. Additionally, they are difficult to pay for without a coin machine or other payment method. Otherwise it is a great area and the staff are helpful.
