Family Life
Bellevue House is a national historic site where Canada’s first Prime Minister (Sir John A. Macdonald) and his family lived in the 1840s. Visitors can tour the restored home and well-kept gardens, learn about life in the 1840s from costumed guides, or attend whisky tasting events at the house. Other special events are held from spring to fall each year. The Original Hockey Hall of Fame features a number of exhibits on various aspects of the history of hockey, including information about important figures, popular teams, and how the sport has changed over the years.
