We have been in our unit since 2014 at Abigibail 2. Moving into a brand new apartments was a highlight for us. The views from our unit can't be beat. Most of the staff we've had over the years have always be good. We sure have a great team now. They make the extra effort to make our rental experience a good one. Staff always have a smile and a wave as we pass the office. Conerns are always addressed in a timely manner. We continue to be happy here and hope to continue living here for the long haul. Honestly, the staff is the best part of these buildings! They are so friendly and welcoming and the buildings are well maintained. My biggest issue is parking. People are constantly parked in fire lanes (I've been blocked in a spot before and couldn't leave for work because there were too many cars parked in front of the spaces along the fire lane) or I have to park a 5+ minute walk away from my building and in the mornings I have to carry my laptop bag, lunch bag, toddler, diaper bag, his jacket and my jacket and it's such a pain! I asked about underground but the price of $150 per month + HST which is too high for a suburban apartment. I pay less than that for underground parking downtown in a mixed use office/ residential building. If you lowered the rate you'd likely rent more spaces and gain additional parking revenue (just food for thought). It's easy to see that a lot of suburban apartments still include one underground spot. It's also something to consider when giving rent increases (what's included in the rent in comparison to competitors). Other than parking, we like the building, the amenities are good and the staff is amazing!
