1. Create a Morning Routine

Having a morning routine can help start your day off on the right foot. Here are some things you can do to kickstart your body and brain:

  • Drink lots of water.
  • Do some exercise (jogging, yoga or some light stretching).
  • Have a healthy breakfast.
  • Do some meditation or meaningful reading.
  • Have a cup of coffee or green tea.

2. Plan Ahead

Don’t go about your day just waiting for things to happen. Make a schedule and do your best to stick with it. Knowing exactly what you must do each day will make you more efficient. Remember to include breaks in your schedule and use that time to disconnect.

3. Be Prepared

Take time every day to learn and practice. Know as much as you can about your neighborhoods, practice your listing presentations and be prepared for any questions your clients might ask.

4. Prioritize Communication

Communication is key. Make sure you respond quickly to leads every day and follow up on your clients’ inquiries in a timely manner. Try setting up a 15-minute block every couple of hours in which you respond to any emails that might have come through. If you need more time to reply to someone, let them know you’re working on it and will get back to them as soon as you can. You can also set up an autoresponder message when things get extra busy.

5. Be Active on Social Media

Your social media presence can have a huge impact on your business. Come up with different ways to engage with your users on your social media platforms. Share with them news articles they might find interesting, offer tips and tricks that they should know, create polls to find out their preference in different situations. Many are likely to respond with likes or comments, so it’s great way to get to know potential clients. And you’re not only networking with prospects, but also building your agent brand.

6. Leverage Your Website

Besides being active on social media, you should also invest in a quality website. Set aside time each day to check on your site. Data can give valuable insights into how your leads found you or how they’re interacting with your website. In turn, you can optimize it to get better results.

Remember that it takes time to build a successful business and agent brand. Following these steps won’t turn you into a sensation overnight, but if you keep building these positive habits and stay determined, the results will show in time.
