It takes years to become an overnight success. This is true for most of the successful, accomplished people out there. But it’s also true for the myriad projects and developments these people set up to create and build.

A big business, an attractive building and even a city might seem like finished projects, there to inspire us. They are all, however permanent they might seem at any moment, works in progress – always changing, always adapting.

And buildings are the best expression of this. An iconic skyline, a street, a boulevard or a secret corner might seem fixed and finished in the present, but only by looking back can we truly appreciate the work that went into creating it, as well as the end result.
