The Toronto real estate market is famous for offering a diverse supply of housing options to meet the needs of the many house-hunters who flock here. One of the most important features people often search for in a new home is a good place to prepare food. Luckily, The Queen City doesn’t disappoint in this regard, boasting a wide variety of properties for sale with practical and well-equipped kitchens, so you can create your daily meals quickly and efficiently.
Take a look at a few examples of Toronto real estate that we think feature some rather nice kitchens:
#1 65 Huntingdale Blvd, Toronto, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, $475,000
We’re kicking off with the most affordable property on our list, a 2-bedroom 2-bath condo unit situated in the L’Amoureaux real estate market. The apartment boasts an all-white kitchen, with the tiles, cabinets, drawers and even the appliances all painted in light tones. The dark marble countertops are in contrast with the rest of the galley kitchen. Although it might seem small at first glance, the compact kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances and offers plenty of bang for your buck.
#2 36 Park Lawn, Toronto, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, $738,000
This 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment is an excellent example of Mimico luxury real estate. Part of a highly sought-after development complex, the unit boasts a sleek compact kitchen with high-end European stainless steel appliances. This spacious room also features elegant dark brown cabinetry and a kitchen island, along with two white bar stools—the ideal place to grab a quick bite. The quartz counters offer enough space for meal prepping, while the matching wall tiles ensure a nicely balanced look in this part of the house.
#3 69A Morningside Avenue, Toronto, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, $995,000
Next up we have a newly renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bath house, located at the western periphery of the city in the Swansea real estate market. One of the home’s most recent upgrades includes the gorgeous kitchen with an oversized waterfall island, pure white quartz countertops and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances. The marble backsplash, the pot lights, the farmhouse-style sink and the unique layout give the kitchen an elegant flair. The soft-closing drawers and the handful of white cabinets offer enough space to store all your valued utensils, pots and pans.
#4 5 Belton Road, Toronto, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, $1,725,000
At a somewhat higher price than the other listings we’ve presented here, this splendid-looking 4-bedroom house has a beautifully kept garden and all-in-all is a very nice piece of Don Mills real estate. The living areas are spacious and the rooms in the mansard roof add to the available area. The kitchen is also of generous proportions and was tastefully renovated in 2016, with smart white cabinetry with chrome fittings and appliances. There is currently a classy hardwood table and chairs in the middle of the kitchen, and the light fittings here are also very well chosen.
#5 6 Plateau Cres, Toronto, 5 Bedrooms, 6 Bathrooms, $4,888,900
Lastly we have the most expensive property on our list, a very attractive residence that can also be found in the Don Mills real estate market. For this price you would expect a large and very well-equipped kitchen, and that’s exactly what you get. The cabinets are plentiful and have a very smart white finish. There is a kitchen island, made from dark brown wood, which also doubles as a breakfast bar, and other seating is also available nearby. The stove is large and will be able to handle all your cooking requirements, and in addition there are high-end stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, a built-in microwave and a washer/dryer.
