Vancouver is currently the most expensive city in Canada for purchasing real estate. With that said, however, the Vancouver real estate market is flooded with a myriad of properties for sale, ranging from small flats in Downtown to spacious apartments in the suburbs. And the city is of course stunning, so we reckon that if you’re looking for a nice place to call home in Rain City, you might want to gather as much money as you can and purchase a place offering a wonderful panorama.
If that’s the case, you might want to take a look at a few examples of Vancouver homes boasting superb and yet very different views:
#1 1155 Seymour Street, Vancouver, 1 bathroom, $549,000
We’re kicking off our list with the most affordable property, a 418-square-foot upper level condo unit located right at the very heart of the city, in the highly sought-after Downtown Vancouver real estate market. The central location provides easy access to all the amenities you might ever need.
While it’s true that the unit offers only a limited amount of space, thanks to its clever and airy layout, it could be a rather comfortable city-centre base. The apartment comes with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a front row view of Van’s gorgeous Downtown from the comfort of the living area. It also features a small balcony, giving even more views of the bustling city and its spectacular skyline.
#2 109-710 E 6th Avenue, Vancouver, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, $699,000
Our second listing is a little different: being an example of Mount Pleasant real estate, located south of Downtown Vancouver, it has a much more suburban aspect. And the best of both worlds might be on offer here, as it’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle to offer some peace and tranquility, but also merely a short commute away from the heart of the city.
The 943-square-foot unit lies on a charming tree-lined street with bike lanes, offering plenty of tranquility. It has quite a lot of space and would be a great place for small families. Last but not least there is the charming balcony with its wooden deck and nice-looking brickwork, offering the perfect place for admiring some attractive mature trees while relaxing and putting your feet up.
#3 1515 Homer Mews, Vancouver, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, $3,398,000
Concluding our list is the most expensive property of the bunch, a 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit in one of the most desirable development complexes in the city, the fabulous King’s Landing. The prestigious block of flats is another piece of Downtown Vancouver real estate, and so all the necessary amenities are merely a stone’s throw away.
The lovely 1,446-square-foot apartment comes with oversized windows throughout, letting in plenty of natural light. Through these you can gaze over the lush grounds of David Liam Park and the imposing English Bay—truly a spectacular sight! The best panorama, however, can be admired from the generous private deck which has enough space to entertain guests.
Over to you now: which property of these three do you think has the best views? We’d also love to hear your opinions about whether or not you’d pay extra when purchasing a home just to have a superb panorama.
