Rosemary is one of those people who is always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether it’s at work or in her personal life, she wants to do all she can to make things easier for others. This is seen in her love of customer service, which she contributes to for both Point2 and our sister company RealTown.
She is known for her devotion to her family and her love of all things crafting: painting, sewing, cooking and making jewelry. Her coworkers in our San Diego office get to enjoy fruits of her labor when she brings baking samples into the office (yes, we’re jealous too!).
We asked Rosemary to answer a few questions about herself. Here’s what she had to say:

Classical and anything saxophone. The saxophone is so beautiful.
If you have an hour of free time to spare, what do you do with it?

What was your last Do It Yourself project?
To make a keepsake (by request) for my youngest sister. We had lost both our parents and she gave me boxes of old jewelry, worn by mother, most gifts from my father, who was in all sorts of church and charity groups. Lots of little pins and pendants etc. I made a 16 x16 wooden picture frame, with a velvet back cover. And added a woven “Family Tree” in gold wire. I then displayed the jewelry on the branches of the tree and at the root of the tree, I placed an old mother of pearl heart, written “Mother” in 18K gold. My sister cried when I gave it to her and it made me so proud, knowing she will pass this on. I kept the photos of it. Truly, one of a kind and do not think I could ever replace it.
What online sites do you visit?
Some of the online sites I visit are customer and Point2 websites, Facebook and generally webmail. Part of my daily routine.
If you could have a super power, what would it be?
I would want to discover cures for deadly diseases and make life better for the people who have these awful pains.
What is something about you that few people know?
I am currently engaged in farming (business side) 320 acres of farmland in Central California with my two sisters. The youngest sister, her husband and son manage this farm. My grandfather was an immigrant from Terceira ISLE, Acores, Portugal and settled in 1903. I had an opportunity to go and visit his home land in 2011. It was delightful and I found myself entertained by marvelous family members.
