The Faces of Point2 – Lee Clark

LeeC2Title: Inside Sales Executive
Started at Point2: March 2011

As a member of our stellar sales team, Lee spends a good part of his day on the phone helping agents and brokers find solutions that make sense for their business. He’s a super friendly guy – which is a good thing, because he also travels to tradeshows pretty frequently.

There is apparently no sport that Lee does not enjoy playing, watching or talking about. So if you’re in the Saskatoon area and want to kick a ball around (or watch while someone else does and point out what they’re doing right or wrong), stop by the Point2 office. You’re sure to find good company here!

We asked Lee to answer a few questions about himself. Here’s what he had to say:

What is your favorite type of music?
Anything hard, I love the release that it gives me after a rough day or if I need some extra intensity when doing a physical activity.

What is your favorite book of all time and why?
Ender’s Game, it’s hard to explain why I love it so much without spoiling it so I recommend reading it yourself.

What is your favorite movie of all time?

If you have an hour of free time to spare, what do you do with it?
Definitely something revolving around sports.

What kinds of food do you like?
My mom will tell you that I’m a very fussy eater, but I’m starting to really like Japanese and Mexican cuisine.

What do you like best about your job?
This is going to sound really cliche, but it’s all about the people. I also love the opportunity it gives me to travel and meet new people, whether it be real estate agents, other vendors at trade shows or get to know the people I work with better.

What are the words you live by?
Any quote from Fight Club about death is good, but my favorite is probably, “This is your life and it’s ending one minute at a time.” My interpretation: You can’t fully appreciate life until you accept the fact that one day you will die so you better make the most of it while you’re still living (which is paraphrasing another quote from Fight Club).

What do you want to be when you grow up?

What are some things on your bucket list?
Skydiving, travel to as many places as possible.

What was your last Do It Yourself project?
I don’t do anything myself if possible.

If you could have a super power, what would it be?
Time travel.

What is something about you that few people know?
I’m pretty much an open book and if few people know something about me, it’s something I’d like to keep quiet.
