When answering your business phone, take the opportunity to create a real WOW experience and differentiation for the caller.
Instead of saying, “Hello, this is Jane Doe with XYZ Real estate, how may I help you?”, pop the listener out of their mind frame with a refreshing response that demands they ‘listen up.’
A fun example is:
“Great things are happening at Jane Doe’s office, this is Jane. How can I help you today?”
Another response is:
“It’s a great day at Jane Doe’s office, this is Jane. How can I help you today?”
You will be surprised by their response because it is so different from the other agencies they may have called!
Practice this and smile while you say it. Add some enthusiasm, focus on the connection, and you are on your way to creating a significantly more unique experience for your prospects.
You will stand out from the crowd for sure!
