What Is Predictive Marketing?
Point2 uses predictive marketing technology to determine which listings may be of interest to specific prospects. A listing is determined to be ‘of interest’ based on a formula that considers all of the actions a prospect performs while browsing listings on your site. Activating Predictive Marketing sends your prospects automated listing update emails targeted to their interests.
Why Should I Use It?
You should enable Predictive Marketing because:
- Your prospects – like everyone else – already receive a lot of email. Make your emails count by using Predictive Marketing to send relevant information, instead of generic new listings that are sent to everyone.
- You’re busy. Of course it would be nice to track the interests of all of your prospects, but isn’t it even nicer that Point2 can do it for you?
- It’s easy! Just set it up once and forget about it.
How Do I Start?
Log in to your Online Office and click Prospects. Click on Predictive Marketing from the Related Links menu on the right. You will be taken to a page that looks like this:
Check the Enable Automated Predictive Emails box and adjust your settings if you wish. You can choose to email your prospects with any or all of the following information about their listings of interest: price changes, listing changes and open houses (you can even select to only alert them about open houses at your listings).
You can determine the minimum number of days between each email by adjusting the number on the upper right side. You can also decide just how interested you want someone to be before they receive an email by adjusting the “flame rating.”
Just click Save and you’re done. Ta-da! Emails that are laser-focused on the interests of your prospects will be automatically generated by your Point2 Agent site – keeping you at the top of your clients’ minds and setting you apart from other agents.
