In 1970, after attending SpringfieldCollege, I came to New Hampshire to work for the summer and never left!! The natural beauty, tranquil lifestyle, and the people became my life, and I decided to make the Mt. Washington Valley my home. I began to work part-time in real estate while I received my master’s degree from the University of Southern Maine in counseling. In 1975 I began to sell real estate full time and to use the skills that my education had taught me.; ;Today, I live on Silver Lake in Madison with my husband Mac. Mac is a retired police officer and presently is a self employed contractor. (Please feel free to contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org.) We are very involved in the New Hampshire Highland Games. With a name like Malcolm MacDonald, how could he not be a proud Scotsman!! I am, also, a member of the Madison Baptist Church, on the Board for the Madison Food Pantry, and the Silver Lake Landing which is a residential community for senior citizens in Madison. Most recently, Mac and I have become active in mission work and go to Haiti every year with a team comprised of people with expertise in medical, construction and educational areas. We are proud to sponsor 2 young adults in Port au Prince, Haiti, and to help them to become productive members of their community.; ;Our children are grown and living all over the world. Our oldest daughter, who has lived in Brazil and Sydney, Australia now lives in Copenhagen, Denmark with her husband and seven year old daughter. Our son, Matt, lives in New York City and is an artist working in the entertainment industry in production. Luckily, one of our children lives less than a mile down the road from us with her husband and two children (ages 12 and 10). Heather and Mark Sherwood own Silver Lake Home Center located in Madison. Our youngest, Jenn, was a professional snowboarder and foreran the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Alpine Snowboard events. She presently works at Fryeburg Veterinary Hospital in Fryeburg, Maine and lives in East Conway. ;I am a cancer survivor and pride myself in making each day the best it can be. I try to enjoy life to the fullest, working hard but always making time for my family, friends, and all that makes me happy. We own a vacation home in the Port Charlotte/Englewood area of Florida and hope to retire in the future living five months in Florida and seven months on SilverLake. However, no matter how much time we spend in Florida, the White Mountains of New Hampshire will always be our home. ;I work as part of Team MacDonald & Hale.
