I have lived here since 3/21. The staff at that time was amazing! However, since it changed property management last year the service and communication has really gone down hill. First, I was charged $50 in error for a 13 months! It took that long to receive a full refund of the $650. Others received a charge for $50 erronously but were refunded right away. I left messages, sent emails throughout this time and didnt feel that anyone took this seriously. Even as others received their refund. The current maintenance staff is nothing like the previous professional and respectful staff. The maintenance now has been verbally abusive and completely inappropriate in their behavior. I am a disabled woman and have never been treated this way by staff or anyone in my life. This type of behavoir happened because I simply asked maintenance to clean up their own mess, which is just what the previous staff always did. But the current staff refuses and will make comments like “if you cant do it, I’ll clean your whole house” or “I will get a broom and sweep your whole f****** house” or “your request your mess”. Behavoir like that is not only unacceptable but against the job description and basic responsibilities of how to treat residents. It is just demeaning as a disabled woman who is limited in physical abilities. It is also a violation of my lease. Being screamed at inches from my face is really terrifying from someone who has access to your home. There’s no way he would ever behave like that toward me if I was a man. He has also spoken to other residents telling them my name and unit #. Luckily I had recordings of his behavoir and provided them to management. This has taken a toll on me not only mentally but physically.
