We absolutely love this house and property! Everything has been wonderful with the neighborhood and renting office, However, the maintenance service is terrible. They rarely reach out after a request, mark requests completed that were never addressed, just ignore us all together, etc. we’ve had issues go months unchecked, to the point where the kitchen ceiling collapsed due to no response on a leak, and months later our dining room was flooded. Our ice machine was not repaired for over a year, and we’ve had to continue to escalate every issue until the point where they forced it to become an emergency. Often, cheap independent contractors end up being sent who can be hit or miss at best. We still have issues “pending” that have been sitting for weeks as well. You would think at the amount of rent we were paying, FirstKey Homes would treat their residents with more respect, and in the end these issues are costing far more to be repaired after continuing neglect makes the problems far worse. I’ve rented most of my life, and this is the first time I’ve had complaints for any of the places I’ve rented. It’s absolutely unprofessional and dissappointing.
