We have lived here just over a year, when we first moved in we paid $62 a month for water to the water company. Now Riverhouse took control of water payment meaning we now make payment to Riverhouse. We now are paying $140.00 + a month for water. They say they take total water bill and times it by number of units and that's what you pay. Meaning they get a water leak somewhere on the property, fill the swimming pool, arrogate the grass etc. the tenants pay for it. meaning now there's no rush no incentive to fix a leak when it happens and it does happen a lot. Now for internet. when we first moved in we paid $45.00 a month to OUR provider for internet service. It is now $90.00 a month paid to Riverhouse for Internet service, and now that's your only choice if you want internet service, no freedom of choice. Take it or go without.. This is called forced Socialism billing, live and practice right here in the heart of Red and Conservative beloved ALABAMA. Never though I would see the day.. Needless to say we will not be resigning our lease.. Shame on you Riverhouse Apts and your corporate communist.
