Real Estate Market Overview

Homes in Richmond can be pricey, with the average sale ranging from $700,000 to $1,300,000. High-end condos are common in the northern section of Richmond, particularly along the Fraser River, but the area also offers pricier single-family homes. Richmond Nature Park is 200 acres of raised peat bog habitat with four walking trails that provide birdwatching, wildlife viewing, and plant identification opportunities. The area is carefully preserved because of the environment’s rarity, so dogs and other animals are not permitted on the trails. The park is also home to the Nature House, an interpretive centre that features displays and games on aspects of the park, a gift shop, a beehive, and a small collection of animals. For family fun, the Richmond Night Market operates in the summer months each year and provides plenty of entertainment.
