The university expanded its location with a $35 million Innovation Complex which opened in September 2014.

Sheridan College was a $46 million complex built in 2011. The 150,000 square ft. college is located on an 8.5 acre of land in the city centre. Its major educational programs are business education and programs to accelerate Canadians into the workforce. The college has facilities to house 5,000 students.

Mississauga is rich in K-12 schools as well. There are four major school boards that run the schools in Mississauga. One of these school districts is the Peel School Board District.
