Southwest of Paradise is Butter Pot Provincial Park, which offers camping, fishing, hiking, boating, and swimming. There are many varieties of plant and animal species in the park.

The city is divided in the northen area, the center and the southern area.

North

The north section of Paradise is mostly pockets of residential areas between greenspaces/forests. There are some smaller businesses in the area, most of which are located close to Highway 50. Small rivers/streams and other small bodies of water can be found in this section of the city. This section includes the neighbourhood of St. Thomas.

Neighbourhoods

Center

The centre section of the city is also mostly residential, with businesses located along Highway 60.
There are a few parks/greenspaces in this area, as well as bodies of water such as Adams Pond, and some rivers/streams. This section includes the neighbourhoods of Donovan Terrace and Evergreen Village, as well as the city centre.

South

In the south section of the citythere are a number of ponds, such as Octagon Pond, Rocky Pond, Topsail Pond, Neils Pond, and Nevilles Pond. The area also has a couple of sports complexes, the city government offices, and the Peter Barry Duff Memorial Park. Most of this section is residential and it includes the neighbourhood ofKarwood Estates.
