Corner Brook is a Canadian city in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
It has a population of over 19,000 people and covers an area of 148.26 square kilometers.
The city is made up of four towns: Corner Brook East and West, Townsite and Curling.It is located along the waters of the mouth of the Humber River.
The city acts as a service center for North and West Newfoundland.
It experiences hotter summers and colder winters and it is considered to be one of Canada’s snowiest cities.
Two aboriginal groups, the Beothuk people and the Maritime Archaic people resided in Corner Brook for many years.

The main sections of the city include West, East and Downtown.
East Corner Brook is located along the water and next to Downtown Corner Brook. It is mostly filled with residential property, but there are some commercial buildings towards the east of the area.
The Corner Brook Plaza is located along Confederation Drive and there are parks located towards the south of the area.
West Corner Brook is mostly dominated by housing. Stores, restaurants and other amenities can be found along O’Connell Drive. Another commercial area is located towards the south. Blow Me Down Cross Country Ski Park can be found towards the western edge of this area. The Captain James Cook National Historic Site is located near the water in this area of the city.
Downtown Corner Brook is largely commercial. The Millbrook Mall is located here along with many other stores, restaurants and other amenities. Schools are located in the area as well as small businesses.
West Corner Brook is filled with mostly single-family homes and land. Some of the houses are divided up into apartments. Many of these homes are large with spacious yards. The land in the area is perfect for building a home and it is quite affordable. East Corner Brook has bungalows and single-family homes.Many of the bungalows in the areahaveyards that are perfect for families.The homes vary in price, with some being quite affordable and others being more expensive. The homes in the area are quite close to amenities. Downtown Corner Brook has single-family homes, condominiums and commercial space. The single-family homes in the area usually have smaller yards but they are still a great option for families. The condominiums in the area have beautiful interiors and they are typically large and spacious. The commercial space that is available is perfect for companies that needoffices in the heart of the city.

Newfoundland and Labrador English School District serves the city of Corner Brook. It has a total of seven schools that operate in the city.
