Much of Maple Ridge’s lifestyle is based around the outdoors, and the city offers a number of recreational activities including fishing on the Fraser Valley, cycling, hiking, bird watching, kayaking, and horseback riding. Maple Ridge also has great shopping facilities, where you can pick up stylish furniture, clothes, speciality toys, and artwork. Maple Ridge has a large number of European-Canadian residents, and a small Aboriginal, South Asian, and Chinese population.
