Grand Forks, British Columbia

Located in the southern portion of British Columbia, Grand Forks is home to a population of over 4,000 people. The city covers 10.43 square kilometres near the Canada/U.S. border, close to the communities of Almond Gardens, Niagara, Christina Lake, and Cascade. The Kettle River and Granby River intersect in the middle of the city, and a few small bodies of water are scattered just outside of the area.

The Crowsnest Highway (Highway 3) runs through the centre of the city, providing quick access to nearby communities. Grand Forks was established in the late 19th century as part of copper mining activity in the area.
