Located in Alberta, Leduc is a rural yet diverse municipality and a popular stopping point for people travelling between Calgary and Edmonton.

Sitting 33km south of Edmonton, Leduc covers an area of 36.97 sq.km and has a population of 30,496.

The city was founded in 1899, with the formation of the Canadian Pacific Railway driving settlers to the area.

Farmingwas, and still is, a huge industry and has contributed massively to the establishment of the city.

Oil was first discovered in 1947 at Leduc No. 1, which played a huge role in Leduc’s evolution and continues to fuel its growing population and progression to this day.

Leduc is known for its booming oil and gas industry and natural resources, which forms the foundation of its economy.

The Leduc Business Park is also home to over 1,400 businesses, and the city sits on the intersection of two Canadian Pacific Railway lines and near Edmonton International Airport making it an economic hub with world class transportation.
