Bridgeland is one of Calgary’s oldest communities, which has undergone a major transformation in the past 20 years due to the rapid growth of the city. Some of Calgary’s most famous attractions, like the Calgary Zoo, call this neighbourhood home. The combination of unique recreation and entertainment with the feeling that comes from having a place in history makes Bridgeland one of Calgary’s most desired areas to live in.

Despite sitting on the Northeast edge of Downtown Calgary, Bridgeland is a quiet, family friendly community with a great mix of single family homes, condos, and apartments. ‘Bridgeland’ is more than just a name: the community is connected to the downtown core by several bridges that span the beautiful Bow River. These bridges make walking and biking throughout Bridgeland and into the surrounding communities very easy. In fact, an estimated 6,000 people use the famous Peace Bridge every single day on their way to work and play in the downtown core.

Memorial Drive is a major roadway that runs along the south edge of Bridgeland near the Bow River, but most of the community enjoys quiet traffic patterns that consists only of residents and people visiting the area.
