Starting her working career at the age of 4, Cindy Hinds was a well-known Movie Starlet from the 70’s and 80’s. She left the entertainment industry behind to pursue an education in Hospitality Management. For 10 years Cindy held various management positions in both hotels and restaurants but, in the early 90's, left the hospitality industry to pursue other opportunities. For 14 years she worked in Toronto as the Sales and Marketing Manager for one of Canada’s leading manufacture of Ready to Assemble furniture and cabinets. Cindy once again made a change and earned her real estate license in 2006 and went full time into Real Estate, where she continues to provide outstanding real estate services for both buyers and sellers in Simcoe County. In addition to real estate, in 2013 Cindy was involved in the design and development of a 6,600 sqft building in Angus where she opened and operated 2 eating establishments. One, an upscale sit down café and the other, a large, full service restaurant/bar, until sold in 2019. Cindy respectfully, ethically and thoughtfully supports her family, friends, clients and community. Having believed since a young girl that we should be kind to all and give back when we can, Cindy began volunteering at the age of 13 and continues to this day. Most recently, she was actively involved with the development and launch of the Angus & Area Chamber of Commerce in 2009. She was the Vice President for 2 years, President for 5 years and then Past President 2. Cindy is respected in many communities as well as by her family, friends, clients and peers for her integrity, openness, dedication and hard work. Cindy remains involved in many local and National not for profit organizations like Blood In the Snow Canadian Film Festival & Deadly Exposure in Toronto for which Cindy sits on the Board of Directors and acts as board and business advisor, Theatre By The Bay in Barrie sitting on the Board of Directors and also as an event volunteer, the Lions and Lioness Clubs, Special Olympics, The Barrie Film Festival and area school events.
