Introducing: MLS Certified – Driving Higher Standards In Property Data

990 6

At Point2 keeping our MLS/Association partner data up-to-date and accurate is one of our highest priorities.  We spend an inordinate amount of time making sure that every single one of the listings we syndicate out to our network of partners contains rock-solid information – something which benefits everyone from consumers all the way up to brokers and real estate organizations.

That is why today we are proud to announce the latest initiative in our quest for data accuracy in Listing Syndication – MLS Certified.

The program, launched beginning with the state of Texas will feature the MLS Certified™ logo on Realtors’ listings received from local Multiple Listing Service (MLS) organizations and associations and displayed on the Texas Association of REALTORS® (TAR) website.

A symbol of authority, quality and accuracy, MLS Certified™ is designed to instill in consumers the confidence that they are browsing original, timely and accurate real estate listings originating from the local Multiple Listing Service (MLS).

If this goes into effect all across the country will we be able to have our listings loaded automaticlly from our MLS so we don’t have to hand type them in seperatly? And also when will other states have this?

What is the cost and do we get CE credit?

      Hi Diane,

To answer your first question, there is absolutely no cost to participating MLSs and Associations. To answer your second question, since this program is for the aforementioned MLSs and Associations rather than individual Agents or Brokers there is no CE credit offered.

I see you are usimg wolfnet for the idx… I have a wolfnet idx from my kw website. Can my listings be routed from wolfnet into the listing syndication?

      Hi Joe,

Thanks for the great question! We have so many Keller Williams agents using our software that this question tends to crop up from time to time. To answer your query, we are currently unable to syndicate IDX listings at this time since our syndication platform & IDX platform are two independent systems built by two separate companies. However, if this ever changes we will be sure to try and let all of our KW users know 🙂
